“Hot Circuit” is a ten channel video installation that uses the story of a teenage pregnancy to investigate issues relating to virtuality and the failure of technology. The ten sets are arranged in a circle facing inward, with each set equidistant from the next. Each television plays one scene from the drama on a continuous loop, however, the sequencing of the scenes need not be linear and may be placed in any order. All television sets are play their scenes simultaneously, including sound so that the viewer, in the center of the circle is surrounded by visual and aural information.
